Benefits of waking up early
Lets be honest, there is nothing more provoking than the hideous sound of your alarm dragging you back into reality from that amazing dream you were having. We all have had those days where we made it a ritual to hit the snooze button, but have you actually gotten up early and seen how things work before the sun rises? Today I will be sharing some reasons why you should consider waking up early.
The "strong" person isn't the one who has big arms, goes to the gym everyday, eats 5 meals a day, the real strong person is the one who can simply lift their blanket, and get out of bed early in the morning. That first task you just did was the hardest most difficult job you did, and that's what will set you up for success. That positive mindset of yours, that you just completed the hardest task, is going to set you up with a good mood for the whole day, resulting in you doing all your tasks in half the time.
Now imagine that entire scenario all over again, but instead of waking up you keep hitting the snooze button. Eventually you will fall back asleep and are probably gonna lay in bed for another hour or two. That feeling you get after that drains your motivation for the day, the fact that you failed your first task. Of course not all of this will be true for everyone reading this, these points are just my observations and personal experiences.
For the past few weeks I have been getting up around 6:20 am - 6:40 am whether it is a weekday or weekend. I can say that I starting seeing differences after about a week. I am able to get so much work done. While everybody is sleeping, dreaming about their success, I am up early achieving my success.
Set aside work and school, getting up early can also benefit your fitness and well being. As you wake up earlier than your usual time, you end up with faster accumulation of adenosine which helps you fall asleep faster the next night. Early mornings are probably the best time to get your workout done too.
There some days where you might end up hitting the snooze button, but once you start waking up early on a daily basis, you will see many improvements!
